Spring 2019 Season

The Fish STL Cup is a catch-and-release fishing tournament for high schools in the St. Louis area.

Commemorating 50 successful years of urban fishing

Fishing Cup Rules and Guidelines

Teams compete to get the most points across the tournament’s five-lake circuit. Tournament events include panfish, trout, catfish, and bass.

A minimum of four participants and one adult coach are required to compete. No level of fishing experience is required, though anglers 16 or older will need a valid Missouri fishing permit.

Scoring is determined by the length of your catch. (One centimeter is equal to one point.) The five highest-scoring fish will determine the final score for a match.

Teams with the three highest scores will receive FISHSTLCup Grand Champion trophies, while top finishers for each species event will receive species trophies.
